Snuza HeroMD is designed to constantly monitor the baby's breathing during sleep. It is the first certified baby breathing monitor in Europe and is clinically proven to detect when the baby stops breathing. If the baby's breathing stops, HeroMD gently vibrates to awaken the baby after 15 seconds. If no breathing is detected after another 5 seconds (for a total of 20 seconds), HeroMD will sound an alarm so that you can act and respond quickly. Knowing if your child stops breathing increases the likelihood of resuscitation, which can be a lifesaver!

I am so grateful
I am a paramedic and was worried about SIDS and was finding it really hard to relax and sleep well when my baby was sleeping. The device slips into the diaper and emits a light every time the baby breathes. This light is normally visible through clothing, so it is easy to see in the dark. The sensitivity is good and the alarm is loud, so you can hear it if you sleep next to the baby. Now I sleep when my baby sleeps.

A must-have purchase for every parent
This device has been great for my situation, so I wanted to write a review to thank the manufacturers. My first daughter was born in May, and one thing I was concerned about, being a new dad, was how I would deal with the worry of whether she was okay during the night and whether I would be able to sleep with that in mind. This product is great for people like me who have to constantly check to see if he is breathing, etc. It attaches to the diaper and whenever it detects a breath a green light flashes and can also be set to beep (although this would probably keep everyone awake! so I keep the beep off). The flashing green light can be seen through the baby's clothes, so if I wake up during the night I take a look and see the green light flashing, which calms me down and puts me back to sleep. We have been using it now for almost 4 months and have only had 2 or 3 false alarms, usually because I had put it on wrong. The alarm wakes me up right away, which is good. It seems to be much more reliable than other systems I had heard about in the past. It has been great for mom, dad, and baby to help them sleep in these early days. The baby is still in the bedroom with us, but if used with a good video monitor that detects sounds, I think it will still be useful when the baby goes to his room. A must purchase for all parents with a new born.
