|Snuza Exhibits in Copenhagen
Snuza products were exhibitred at the "Babybasar" from the 11-12th april 2015 in Copenhagen.
It was the first time that this type of consumer fair was held in the south of Copenhagen.
The Snuza Hero baby had a lot of success among the small children who wanted to take the doll home.
Snuza Receives mom.me Award
Snuza was proud to receive this life time award from mom.me on March 17, 2015. Snuza was recognised as Best Baby Gear of 2015 alongside 17 other products.
Mom.me is an online resource for parents in the US. It is a lifestyle site for modern, hip women whom happen to be parents. Members are able to curate content to their interests and needs, allowing for a specialized experience. Mom.me covers Parenting, Food, Style, Home, Mind & Body, and Fun. They utilize a social platform, allowing for parents to connect with similar interests.
Snuza was awarded the Bronze NAPPA (National Parenting Publications Award) in the US. NAPPA select the most entertaining, appealing, safe, educational, age-appropriate and enduring products as NAPPA Gold, Silver and Bronze winners. The National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA) is one of the longest running and most respected awards programs in the country. Snuza Exhibits at Hong Kong Baby Fair
With great exitement Snuza was allocated their booth amongst hundreds of other exhibitors at the Hong Kong Baby Fair which started on the 11th of January 2015. Visitors are unaware of all the preparations behind the scenes to make the show worthwhile for their visit. Stand displays and goods get packaged way before the show to be sent from countries all over the globe. All this is to showcase their premium products over a few days for the world to see. Exhibitors chat amongst themselves, lend a hand or a hammer to get the stands looking attractive the day before the show. With great excitement the doors open. Visitors stop and chat to Exhibitors who eagerly await their presence. Snuza left South Africa with great expectations. They were met by a welcoming crowd of traders and Distributors. Snuza's products were introduced to the Asian market who was not very familiar with these portable Baby Movement Monitors, but showed a lot of interest. Snuza enforced their relationship with their Distributor in Asia in order to grow Snuza's presence in the Asian market. We are excited to see more moms having access to a Snuza Movement Monitor. The show doors closed on the 15th of January after a succesful and satisfying show.
CBME Expo Istanbul
Snuza exhibited at the CBME Expo, Istanbul between 15-18 Jan 2015. The stand displayed the Snuza brand for the first time at this show.
There were more than 350 exhibitors. Most of the products on display were mostly known to the visitors. Snuza proudly displayed their products at the show and was recognised as the only company at the Expo, who show cased brand new, unique and high technology products. The Snuza Hero attracted a lot of interest as an innovative product on display.
This was the first time that Turkish parents were introduced to this portable, cordless movement monitor. They were very impressed by the perfect sensitivity of the device. Not only did we get good brand exposure but it created a lot of interest in movement monitors.
It looks like Snuza will soon become a very reliable brand in the Turkish Market.
Snuza is proud to be a member of JPMA
Snuza is proud to announce that they are now a member of JPMA.
JPMA's very prestigious certification program has spread its message of safety for more than 30 years guiding retailers and parents. Voluntary Standards for JPMA Certified Products are developed by ASTM International, a highly regarded non-profit organization and the largest standard setting organization in the world (www.astm.org).
K&J Germany Exhibition
Snuza attended the K&J Show in September 2014. Thousands of retailers and buyers make their way to the K&J Show every year. An exhibition hall that takes days to cover is filled with exitement as everybody showcases their products with pride. The Snuza products attracted great attention. Not only were the award winning Snuza Hero and Go! on display, but also a prototype of a new product that Snuza will be launching early in the new year.
PTPA US Award
Snuza has been awarded with the US PTPA award:
Snuza was awarded the PTPA award for Snuza Hero (April 2014), Go! and Trio Plus (September 2014). The PTPA Awards program is all about recognizing and celebrating great products or services that families love. The PTPA Seal of Approval is awarded by having members of 60,000 families test and evaluate products in their homes. If they feel the product or service makes the cut, it earns the Seal of Approval and PTPA helps spread the word about it.
Harrogate UK Nursery Fair
Snuza participated in a great exhibition at Harrogate UK Nursery Fair from 23rd to 25th of March 2014. Various wonderful products were on display. Snuza however stood out with its unique baby movement monitors, the Snuza Hero and Go!. A lot of interest was shown by the trade. The show provided Snuza with an opportunity to make the brand more known and to give retailers an opportunity to make the Snuza products available in their stores, making the Snuza products more accessible.
Model name change
As of September 2012, we have changed the Snuza HALO model name to Snuza HERO. Everything stays exactly the same - the only change is the name and the packsize.
The main reason we've changed the name is to avoid brand confusion with another product. Our leading-edge products are unique and we feel they deserve their own unambiguous space in the market.
After some research in the marketplace, we decided to optimise our shelf-presence by increasing the Hero packsize. The footprint however remains the same, meaning that we don't actually take up any additional shelfspace other than in height.

New Snuza Trio wins Polish Baby Show award
Recently our Polish distributor Grow Smart & Partners showed the range of Snuza products on the biggest B2B baby show in Poland, Czas Dziecka 2012. Grow Smart are also running a ‘Win the Layette’ competition throughout Poland, with Snuza as one of the main sponsors. Any parent who purchases any of the products from the Grow Smart catalogue and registers his purchase on their website stands a chance to ‘Win the Layette’ www.wygrajwyprawke.pl/. Each entry also contributes to the ‘Snuza Donation’ for the Foundation for Premature Babies who support parents of premature babies (www.wczesniak.pl). For every 100 entries, a Snuza Hero Mobile Baby Movement Monitor will be donated to the Foundation. Grow Smart hope to donate a minimum of 12 Snuza Hero’s this year, at least 1 each month.
Snuza in Mexico
In February the Mexican Pediatrics Association organized their "5th Annual Meeting of the Americas".
About 1800 delegates, half of whom were Pediatricians, attended the AMA which was held in the World Trade Centre in Mexico City.
Our Snuza distributor in Mexico, Luis Alonso Ruiz Shelley of LA-RHO Global Trade, took part as an exhibitor. He managed to distribute surveys and gather data from 129 Pediatrician delegates, with a resoundingly positive feedback about Snuza Mobile Baby Monitors. They were keen to receive further information about Snuza products and were agreeable to recommend it to their patients. Well done, Luis!
